A Ministry by, and for, those in the prime of life
Calvin Presbyterian Church has many active seniors. Some have raised their families in the church and been a part of the congregation for much of their lives. Others find us when they move into the area, especially to the nearby CRISTA campus. (Calvin provides transportation to the 9: 15 Sunday worship service from CRISTA.)
Our seniors contribute significantly in a wide variety of ways, in the community as well as the church. Seniors offer their talent and experience in the church office and library, strengthen our worship music, care for the facility and grounds, assist in the kitchen, lead Bible studies, call on the sick and homebound, and are available to provide a helping hand where needed.
PrimeTime is our newly reorganized fellowship and service group for everyone over 55.
Day and evening events are being planned for singles and couples to enjoy together. The Steering Committee welcomes your input. This will be what WE make it!
Already on the calendar is a catered Christmas dinner on Saturday, December 9, 2017. More info to come.
