Giving Gifts that Give Twice
• Rather than giving “stuff” for Christmas, consider giving a gift in someone’s name to one or more of the ministries supported through Calvin Church. •
It has become part of Calvin culture to think about Christmas broadly and generously and to give “alternative” gifts at Christmas. In recent years, members and friends have given thousands of dollars to ministries that bring food to the hungry, security to the homeless and hope to the hopeless–all in Jesus’ name.
Below are direct links to donation pages for Calvin ministries and Calvin-supported ministries that provide food, housing, prayer, and support services for families here in Shoreline. Additional Calvin-supported ministries meet physical, spiritual, educational and leadership training needs in greater Seattle and around the world. Thank you for blessing a family member or friend with a loving and generous alternative gift this Christmas. Your gift could truly change a life and have global impact for God’s Kingdom.
