Understanding & Loving our Muslim Neighbors
Hear from an Egyptian pastor with a passion for Jesus

We welcome Milad Istafanous Nakhla to Calvin Church.

Milad’s passion is evangelism. His vision is to share Jesus with all people, especially college students, because many students he meets, even in the U.S., don’t have a relationship with God, or even know who Jesus is.

On Sundays at 10:45 am, Milad is sharing about
  • Christians and Muslims in the Middle East
  • the Egyptian church, past and present
  • Muslim culture and life
  • Islam religion
  • Christians and the Christian church in the Middle East
  • Living as a Christian in a Muslim culture
  • Comparing and contrasting Christianity and Islam
  • What the Qur’an says about Jesus Christ
  • Sharing Christ with Muslims
All are welcome to join us for this unique opportunity to learn about our Muslim neighbors.

Milad is an ordained Presbyterian minister in Egypt and is in the United States for additional education and orientation to the Presbyterian Church, USA. Through North Puget Sound Presbytery, he is doing an internship at Calvin.

Milad earned a B.A. in Middle Eastern Ancient History from Cairo University. He completed seminary at the Evangelical Seminary College in Cairo in 2005, and was ordained in Egypt. Milad has served in three Presbyterian churches in Egypt. He also served as part of Campus Crusade for Christ at Cairo University.
Milad is already sharing the Gospel of Christ on Alkarma TV, a free Arabic Christian satellite television channel. Every Friday and Sunday he reaches out to teach Muslims how to accept Christ as Savior.
