Our Vision Faithful to Christ, Seeking and Serving His Call
Our Goals
- Every adult, youth and child feels welcomed, loved, supported, and included in the life of Calvin from the time they are a visitor until the time they depart Calvin.
- Every adult, youth and child grows in loving relationship with Christ through active involvement in worship, prayer, study and service.
- Every adult, youth, and child responds to God’s call to engage with the community and world around them.
- Prayer is at the center of every aspect of our life together.
Located in Shoreline, Washington, just north of Seattle, Calvin Presbyterian has been a consistent witness to Christ in our community for over 50 years.
With longstanding strengths in music and global missions, the emphasis in 2008 was to identify local needs to which the congregation could respond, in cooperation with other churches and community partners. One significant result was the decision to host Tent City 3 for 90 days (December 2008-February 2009). |
